A leading name in the play industry, Timberplay work to support children’s development through the act of play, enhancing their understanding of the world around them. Timberplay asked Field to design publications for both their National and International markets. The brochures showcase their products and services in a way that unites the experiences they create with their ethos as a company.
For the National market, we worked with Timberplay to produce a publication involving several special finishes and a unique format. To help us we turned to the experts, asking children with experience of Timberplay products to provide illustrations and testimonials.
The brochure embraces the textural qualities of paper, reflecting the craftsmanship and detail that goes into Timberplay pieces. A sensitive treatment of type and image is used throughout with variation between photographic and illustrative spreads implemented to create pace and rhythm. Using recycled papers and natural hues, the project is an homage to the qualities that the natural landscape can provide to us.
